Alkeme is Hiring a Commercial Property Casualty Programs Near Austin, TX

Description

The Producer will be responsible for building a profitable book of business through customer program offerings. They will assist in developing and acquiring new business revenue from new and existing clients and assigned prospects in identified sectors or market areas. Develops and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture. Develops basic functional knowledge of the insurance industry. 

Standards of Performance:

  • Demonstrate great customer service skills, internally and externally, with effective communication, respect and integrity.
  • Provides expert guidance, strategy, and best practices to clients with regards to risk management and insurance.
  • Travel to clients work locations to help support clients on site with their business affairs.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to identify exposures, obtain underwriting information and provide expert recommendations about appropriate insurance coverages for client.
  • Timely response to client, underwriter and internal department requests.
  • Analyze exposures for new and renewal clients to help ensure clients have the insurance they need to meet their goals and comply with legal requirements.
  • Support and assist in the preparation of comprehensive submissions for marketing.
  • Coordinate customer service with Account Managers
  • Ability to maintain professional relationships with customers, clients, and co-workers.
  • Ability to work in and contribute to culture of teamwork and cooperation.
  • Demonstrate initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Highly ethical
  • Understands business owners and our client base and focuses efforts accordingly.
  • Drive top line revenue and supports efforts to drive bottom line results for the agency through focused sales activity and new channel development.
  • Align prospective clients with our support teams to help facilitate great experiences for our teams and our clients.
  • Strong analytical, negotiating, organizational, and decision-marking skills.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum of high school diploma, college degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with insurance agency and / or carrier handling commercial accounts.
  • Licensed P&C Broker
