Job Title: Part Time Clinical Support Specialist

Position Overview

The part time Clinical Support Specialist is a Licensed Clinician supporting all clinical facets of programming including facilitation of groups as well as completing initial assessments of new admissions at 20 hours/week.

Job Functions

• Facilitates group counseling in accordance with the established clinical program to include Detox/ Residential/ PHP/IOP/ and OP Levels of care with one day of weekend coverage at the inpatient facility.
• Establishes and maintains knowledge regarding documentation with the electronic medical records system: KIPU, Completes documentation in a timely manner
• Assists with completion of intakes for new admissions, ie. Biopsychosocial Evaluations, Suicide Assessment, Initial Treatment Plan, and admission ASAM.
• Collects and prepares data as requested by the Executive Director and or Clinical Director.
• Maintains and obtains all appropriate credentials regarding substance abuse counseling and mental health licensure
• Acts a support to the clinical team, ie therapists in care of patients
• Collaborates with Medical Providers to ensure comprehensive care is provided to clients

Requirements

• LAC or LPC
• LCSW
• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Healthcare related major
• Valid CO driver’s license and auto insurance
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Able to work collaboratively with multiple health and criminal justice professionals using tact, diplomacy, and discipline
• Exhibits a high degree of courtesy, tact, and poise when interacting with patients, families, and other personnel
• Clinical knowledge pertaining to substance use disorders, mental health diagnoses, as well as trauma specific populations

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
