Our client, a non-profit that serves small to medium-sized Agribusinesses, is seeking an Engagement Executive to join their team in Vancouver, WA. Our client's mission is to increase the international growth of Western agribusiness by providing financial support, export readiness, and business development services to companies located in the thirteen Western United States, Guam, and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. Our client achieves organizational excellence through efficient and effective people, systems, and processes.

The Engagement Executive will promote a customer-first approach to improve program participation and member relationship management within an assigned region. This position is responsible for managing our client's guided journey for companies and serves as the single point of contact for companies and members.

Responsibilities

  • Consistently manage and administer the program following federal funding regulations and internal company policies.
  • Engage with members, staff, and company participants in a way to create brand loyalty and increase program participation through business development, retention, and re-engagement efforts.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and experiences while developing strong relationships with company participants by delivering customized communications on events, programs, and benefits.
  • Conduct needs analysis for company participants and guide them to participate in the best-fit program and activities.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of customized programs, benefits, events, and communication plans designed with the desired outcome of building loyalty and customer satisfaction.
  • Implement all recruitment and retention action plans related to your market area as outlined in the marketing plan.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer and prospect records and participate in the development of prospect lists, qualifying leads, closing new accounts, and retaining existing ones.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with client base through a variety of channels, including but not limited to, phone, text, mail, emails, and in-person to build strong relationships.
  • Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, ethics, and attitude towards all company participants, members, industry partners, and team members.
  • Collaborate and support the program coordinator teams with integrity, positivity, and a forward-looking outlook.
  • Develop and maintain analytic reports as required by leadership.
  • Develop and conduct annual business reviews with member states and territories on program results.
  • Provide high-quality customer service experience that brings more member and company feedback into the organization by way of Net Promoter Score
  • Promote a culture of trust, service, integrity, excellence, and accountability.
  • Create, model, and maintain a work culture that supports and values inclusion, equity, and diversity.
  • Domestic and international overnight travel required up to 25%.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and 2-3 years of experience in non-profit, outreach and engagement, account executive, customer service, sales, business management, or related field; 2 years additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree.
  • Demonstrated history of strong project management and organizational skills; ability to independently manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong ability to motivate others.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills; ability to cultivate professionally collaborative relationships at all levels, from direct reports to members of the board.
  • Ability to work independently and maintain a “big picture” perspective.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Available to work a hybrid work model, or the ability to travel to Vancouver monthly to work in the office if located out of the area, must reside in PST or MST

Compensation Range Based on Experience:

This position is exempt with a wage band ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per year.
