We are excited to announce that with our growth, we are adding to our accounting team and seeking to add a staff accountant.

We are open to varying levels of experience and educational backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements- Perform month-end and year-end close processes- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements- Conduct internal audits to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations- Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes- Perform reconciliations of bank statements, general ledgers, and other financial records- Assist with tax preparation and filing- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance a plus! (Strongly preferred)- Strong knowledge of SOX compliance and regulatory reporting requirements- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle)- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping principles and practices- Solid understanding of technical accounting standards (GAAP)- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Strong attention to detail and accuracy- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal- Experience in Dental Practice Accounting is a plus- Knowledge of private equity accounting is a plus
