ALIGN PRECISION is Hiring a CNC Programmer Near Chandler, AZ

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Create and maintain multi-axis CNC programs to produce parts using NX, GIBBS, or Mastercam CAD/CAM software working together with other Engineers
  • Use machine simulation software to ensure collision free code
  • Collaborate as needed with supervisors, other programmers, and end users to gather information about program intent and process output considering all necessary variables (machine, control operator skill level etc.)
  • Contribute to the improvement and standardization of the CNC programming process
  • Assists with trouble shooting and problem solving machining processes
  • Provides technical assistance by responding to inquiries regarding errors, problems, or questions with programs
  • Able to set-up and run CNC mills (ROBODRILL, Matsura, Makino, & HASS – “Fanuc controls”) as needed to support new product introduction and continuous improvement efforts
  • Design work holding and fixtures in SolidWorks
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills Required:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of NX, GIBBS, or Mastercam experience
  • Must have experience in a close tolerance milling environment
  • Must fully understand GD&T
  • Self-Starter / Self-Motivated / Flexible / Detail-Oriented
  • Reliable and dependable
  • Positive internal and customer focused attitude
  • Must enjoy fast paced environment
  • Strong ability to organize, prioritize and communicate
  • Take ownership of projects to ensure meeting customer delivery commitments
  • Ability to incorporate machine probing routines within CNC programs for validations and in process inspections

Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Mathematical Skills:Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Manufacturing: 10 years
  • NX Software: 5 years
  • Solidworks: 2 years
