Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work closely with individuals with developmental disabilities to provide support and implement behavior intervention plans. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

We provide in-home, in-community and nature based services to clients uder the age of 20.

We are specifically looking to hire someone for our summer farm program, where we will be holding sessions Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-1pm at a local equine therapy farm. This programming will include garden projects, a sensory barn, animal interactions, and group activities.

Responsibilities:

- Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

- Collect and record data on client progress and behaviors

- Assist with the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

- Provide support and assistance to individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care

- Maintain accurate and confidential medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Utilize medical terminology and special education techniques in daily interactions

Experience:

- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred

- Familiarity with behavioral health principles and techniques

- Knowledge of data collection methods and procedures

- Understanding of special education practices and strategies

- Ability to work effectively with children and adults with diverse needs

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Ability to pass a background check
