About this role:

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented bilingual (Chinese/English) Architecture Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and designing innovative architectural solutions for a variety of projects. As an Architecture Designer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate client needs into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for creating spaces that inspire and enhance the human experience.

Job Description:

● Lead both architect teams in the U.S. office and China office, manage and supervise two teams accomplishing all architectural projects on time with high quality;

● Enhance the communication, connection, and collaboration between the U.S. architect team and the China architect team, coordinate and cooperate efficiently to promote the progress of the project;

● Train both teams, formulate a unified standard operating procedure, and improve working ability and efficiency from technical and communication perspectives;

● Liaise with city/county authorities and related organizations, promptly following through with planning submissions, correction discussions, resubmissions, and permit submissions;

● Schedule team work time and workload efficiently to meet project deadlines and commitments;

● Actively participate in project meetings, documenting discussions through detailed meeting minutes, and contribute to quality assurance/quality control review sessions at project milestones;

● Lead teams to prepare and deliver architectural plans for ADUs, exhibit proficiency in drafting plans and ensuring accurate documentation;

● Check plans for permits before submission, ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.

Qualifications:

● Minimum 2 years experiences in architectural team management work experience in the U.S., good at facilitating project execution and effective project management.

● Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field;

● Strong communication skills, with proficiency in both Chinese Mandarin and English to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders;

● Proven work experience in small and medium projects (e.g. ADU, single family, etc), demonstrating a sound understanding of architectural practices, project process, site planning, and building codes, can quickly deal with correction as well as other related issues and submit plans with quality;

● Excellent problem-solving skills, an independent and analytical mindset, attentive listening abilities, and a commitment to follow through;

● Team oriented and coordination ability, goal-oriented, strong subjective initiative, efficient and open-minded;

● Self-motivated individual who can work independently and collaboratively within a team, fostering positive working relationships with other coworkers;

● Proficiency in Autodesk Revit/AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
