Alicart Restaurant Group is Hiring a Recruiting Specialist Near New York, NY

Our Recruitment Specialist is responsible for representing our restaurant brands, Carmines Italian and Virgil’s Real BBQ in all locations, New York, Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Washington DC! The successful candidate will drive revenue and service standards partnering with the location hiring managers to create a constant pipeline of qualified candidates to quickly fill our growing needs! In collaboration with Hiring Managers this role will explore proactive recruitment strategies to find the best talent for our two iconic brands Carmine’s Italian Restaurant and Virgil’s Real BBQ.

You will be responsible for building a pipeline of candidates for hourly roles, working closely with the Hiring Managers at each location to ensure a positive interview experience for all candidates. In addition to managing our Applicant Tracking System and supporting with internal and offsite hiring events. The position supports the Talent Acquisition Manager and Operations team to ensure that TA objectives align with the restaurant hiring goals and objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Our Recruitment Specialist will work with our restaurants in multiple state locations collaborating with our location hiring managers to successfully source top talent for both Dining Room and Culinary opportunities..
  • Screen, schedule and organize one on one interviews and open calls depending on the needs of the Restaurant.
  • Post hourly positions on our ATS system and various platforms.
  • Supporting candidates and new hires with any ATS training challenges to ensure our systems our working efficiently for all end users.
  • Assist in training all hiring managers on our systems, effective interview techniques and employment compliance regulations.
  • Coordinate all interview details, which includes hosting candidates during open call sessions in our NYC locations and
  • Build relationships with community partners, culinary schools and attend job fairs.
  • Manage written and verbal communication with candidates, hiring managers throughout the interview process, scheduling onboarding.
  • Manage candidate records through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and pull ad-hoc reports when necessary.
  • Keep track of referral bonus information, updating and submitting to Payroll Manager for verification and payment.
  • Manage all hourly job postings ensuring all our restaurant jobs are up to date and competitive.
  • Manage projects around candidate experience, event planning and data integrity as needed.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 1-3 years’ recruitment experience for hourly team members in a Restaurant/Retail setting.
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, such as TalentReef, Workforce, Restaurant 365.
  • Must be Hospitality driven with an inspiring personality.
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills; Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Teams,Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and adapt to change.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and track assigned tasks
  • Advanced social media expertise highly desired with experience in developing attractive flyers and content.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence recruitment decisions.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communications skills.
  • Previousrecruitment project management experience.
  • Advanced recruitment data analytics experience.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in Human Resource Management, Business, strongly preferred.
