We are seeking a Senior Accountant—Corporate Accounting at our headquarter, located in Pasadena, CA. The incumbent will be a highly skilled individual with strong technical accounting background who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative team-centric environment. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for performing accounting duties for a portfolio of commercial real estate assets and supporting the portfolio asset services team, including but not limited to the following:

General Ledger Accounting:

• Analyze Property Income Statements and Balance Sheets’ monthly trends and prepare fluctuations for the assigned portfolio
• Prepare tenant recovery and rental revenue variance explanations for the assigned portfolio
• Perform month-end close processes such as reconciliations, journal entries, and approval of invoices

Financial Analysis and Operational Support:

• Act as a liaison between Accounting and the Asset Services teams to provide Accounting and financial analyses support 
• Collaborate with regional teams to assist with the preparation of annual operating budget and CAM reconciliations
• Assist with the preparation of consolidated reporting package for management review
• Prepare financial analyses to support the Company’s 10Q/10K/Supplemental SEC filings 
• Participate in ad-hoc projects such as process improvement projects, internal and external audit requests, department goals and initiatives, and other special projects

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• CPA preferred
• 2 years of Accounting experience required
• Public Accounting experience is highly preferred
• Public commercial real estate experience preferred
• Proficient in US GAAP Accounting— (Lease Accounting and Project Cost Accounting is a plus)
• Experience with JDE is a plus
• Detail-oriented, strong analytical and communications skills
• Proficient in business related software: Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
• Experience working in a large team environment and collaboration across many groups preferred
• The expected base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the consideration of many factors, which may include, but are not limited to: the individual’s knowledge, experience, education, qualifications, skills, job location, and the Company’s compensation practices.
