GENERAL SUMMARY

Responsible to personally visit with the transferee to provide an accurate and timely survey of items to be packed and moved. Surveys are in person, remote via video meetings or phone calls.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Participation in the descriptive inventory process.
• Perform su rveys remotely through YEMBO, Atlas Net and other digital means.
• Advises transferee of their responsibilities regarding the relocation.
• Reviews with the transferee relocation documents.
• Determines and notes any special services that are requested.
• Assess entrance to the property to determine any constraints that would inhibit load/unload.
• Determines and lists any articles which require special services or crating.
• Performs quality control checks to assure the move process is done to Alexander’s standards.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

• Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with the public/customers while maintaining a positive attitude.
• The need to respond promptly in high-stress and pressure situations is required.
• Ability to listen to and question customers to determine service needs.
• Able to operate an iPad and apps associated with performing the in-home survey.

PHYSICAL AND MIND SET REQUIREMENTS

Job requires the ability to speak clearly and the ability to hear and listen to others. Must be able to navigate all areas of customer’s homes without restrictions.
