Headquartered in Seattle, WA, we now service Fire Extinguishers, Kitchen Fire Suppression Systems, Industrial & Vehicle Suppression Systems, Marine Fire Suppression Systems, SCBAs and other fire equipment, Commercial Kitchen & Exhaust Hood Cleaning, and Engineered Systems throughout Washington, Oregon, Alaska, and Hawaii.

We are looking for a Dispatcher to join our team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate has a strong work ethic, and excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

Experience is required. We are looking for a candidate who has 2 years of dispatching experience in the fire protection industry, or similar industry.

This is a full-time non-exempt position reporting to work Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM. This position will work full-time at our Seattle office.

$27-32/hour depending on experience.

Essential Job Functions:

· Work with Department Manager, Account Managers, and customers to schedule regular and emergency service calls.

· Contact customers regarding upcoming services.

· Serve as point of contact for technicians for all appointment-related questions.

· Prioritize calls and service requests according to urgency and importance.

· Take down detailed and accurate information regarding customer and service location to ensure scheduled appointments are executed seamlessly.

· Record accurate customer information and job notes in Servicetrade.

· Keep a constant awareness of service area, truck charge maps, and cities by jurisdiction.

· Address all customer concerns immediately and report to Department Manager as necessary.

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma;

2 years of dispatching and scheduling experience in a related industry;

Proficient in Microsoft programs, Servicetrade, and Building Reports highly preferred;

Ability to be friendly and helpful to all customers over the phone and in-person;

Dependable, reliable, and punctual;

Ability to self-direct and take initiative.

Physical Requirements

This position requires sitting for most of the day in front of a computer at our office location in Seattle.

Seldom lifting of supplies and equipment weighing 30 pounds.
