Here's what you'd do:

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

Package parts from the wet process area or sandblast parts before plating or heat treatment. Ensures care is taken to prevent damage to parts and sufficiently inspects parts before packaging for wear and contamination. Interprets blueprints and work instructions, both written and verbal instructions, to determine or follow the most effective procedures for packaging various products.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00/hr.

Hours: 40 hrs/Wk (1st Shift).

Length: Temporary (12 months)

• High School Diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years experience in operating a sandblasting or shot-peen machine to accomplish the metal surface finish.

• Candidate must be knowledgeable about selecting appropriate media for the job, setting up the machines, and determining proper cycle times.
• Must have familiarity with various metals and finishes (aluminum, stainless steel, copper, and CAD-plated surfaces).
• Ability to read blueprints and operation sheets for specific tasks.
• Must also be comfortable working with a computer for email, internet, and other essential tasks.
