Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Hingham, MA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
  • Constructing base templates if necessary.
  • Measure and mark out cutting and bending lines.
  • Setting up and loading programs for metalwork machinery, including Vela Punch Press, EMK 3612 punch press, EHRT HC40 copper punch, EHRT HC80 copper punch, EHRT EB-40 copper bender, drill presses, and Amada Press brake.
  • Double-check design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
  • Fabricating and constructing metal components.
  • Grinding and finishing completed products.
  • Performing quality checks on completed products.
  • Conforming with state and company safety regulations.
  • Follow facility safety requirements.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $23 - $27/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week (2nd Shift).

Length: Temp (8 Months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a metal fabricator.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with Forklift.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Ability to enter programs and set up Vela Punch Press, EMK 3612 punch press, EHRT HC40 copper punch, EHRT HC80 copper punch, EHRT EB-40 copper bender, drill presses, and Amada Press brake.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints.
  • Ability to operate basic tools.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Ability to lift 40lbs unassisted and heavier weights as a team lift.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.
  • Ability to stand for long periods.
  • Ability to stand for 10 hours.
