Position: Patient Care Coordinator

Dillman Clinic & Labs is an internal medicine & pediatric practice led by Dr. Megan Dillman. We are looking for a full time Patient Care Coordinator. The perfect candidate recognizes that giving patients personal attention can go a long way in establishing their positive experience with the clinic.

\nTypical Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors and patients in a timely and friendly manner
- Answer phones in a friendly and professional manner
- Monitoring emails and faxes daily
- Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information
- Schedule patients for procedures, examinations, and consultations
- Prepping charts
- Checking patients in and out
- Facilitates patient flow by notifying the provider of patients' arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with patients and clinical staff
- Assist patients with completion of medical record requests
- Responds to inquiries by patients, prospective patients, and visitors in a courteous manner
- Collects patient co-pays and share of costs.
- Records appropriately in EMR
- Protects patient confidentiality, making sure protected health information is secured by not leaving PHI in plain sight and logging off the computer before leaving it unattended.
- Additional duties as assigned
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with electronic medical health records
- Ability to work independently and effectively balance multiple tasks
- Minimum of one year work experience in a medical office setting, preferred
