Purpose

Open and review high volumes of new Legal Referrals from multiple clients.

Prepare FDCPA / Demand Letters for Attorney Review.

Complete mailings for FDCPA / Demand Letters.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Open new Legal Referrals in Aldridge Pite, LLP’s internal case management software
  • Download all corresponding documents from client systems and / or email
  • Review referrals for all necessary information and documents according to client / court / judge requirements in order to proceed with the file
  • Request and follow-up on any missing information or documents necessary to proceed with the file
  • Forward complete files to appropriate paralegal to ensure appropriate and timely handling of file
  • Preparation and mailing of FDCPA / Demand Letters for multiple clients

Job Requirements

  • Minimum High School diploma.
  • No experience required
  • Prior Legal experience preferred but not required

  • Must be self motivated and able to work efficiently in fast paced environment
  • Must be able to open and review high volumes of new referrals effectively and accurately
  • Must have the ability to communicate with co-workers, attorneys and other staff members regarding files
  • Must be proficient in software tools including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and the Internet
  • Must be organized and multi-task oriented
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
