Job Title: Alarm Technician (Residential)

Alder is a leading alarm company that provides high-quality home security solutions to customers across the country. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Alarm Technician to join our team and install alarm systems in residential homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Install alarm systems in residential homes according to customer specifications and Alder's installation guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and repair any issues with alarm systems during installation or after installation
  • Provide customer training on how to operate and maintain their alarm systems
  • Maintain accurate records of installations, repairs, and customer interactions
  • Communicate effectively with team members, customers, and Alder's support staff

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • Clean driving record and background check
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Knowledge of alarm systems and installation techniques
  • Ability to use hand and power tools
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed

Experience:

  • No experience required as we provide best in class training
  • 1 years of experience in alarm system installation or a related field is a plus

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
