As a Sr. Accountant at Alcott HR, you'll support the accounting & finance department's day-to-day operations by performing a range of accounting tasks to ensure the accuracy of financial transactions. We provide our accounting team with cross functional experience and opportunities for professional growth. Our accounting and finance department manages all activities related to general accounting including journal entries, account analysis, financial reporting, accounts receivable/accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll taxes, and budgeting.
Here's What You'll Do

• Maintain accounting ledgers and other financial records detailing organizational business transactions.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting.
• Manage daily bank transactions, prepare cash reconciliations, and monitor bank accounts.
• Have an analytical eye for current accounting related processes and support the modification of these processes to address changes in business needs, market demand and technology.
• Manage and complete multiple projects within required timeframes and expectations.
• Perform various accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) functions.
• Assist in payroll tax payments and filing returns.
• Compile reports in connection with quarterly reviews and annual audits.
• Use advanced functions of MS Excel regularly including pivot tables and XLOOKUP's.
• Take a lead role in special assignments and projects.
• Handle escalated questions from Accounting & Finance team members.

You Are Someone Who Has

• 5 years of related accounting and finance experience.
• Advanced MS Excel knowledge, with mindset for continued growth within this platform.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or equivalent years of education and experience.
• Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial data and prepare timely reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and proven success managing multiple projects at one time, meeting deadlines.

Compensation range of $75,000 - $95,000, commensurate with experience.
