Atlantic Research Group is Hiring a Clinical Research Specialist Near Charlottesville, VA

Atlantic Research Group (ARG), a premier Contract Research Organization (CRO) known for its dedication to advancing clinical trials in oncology, immunology, and neurology, is seeking an entry-level Clinical Research Specialist. This cross-functional role is pivotal in supporting operational activities across multiple departments, including Clinical Operations, Data Management, Drug Safety, and Project Management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the execution of operational tasks across various departments in line with project plans and SOPs
  • Review and update data in ARG’s Clinical Management System, Electronic Data Capture, and other key systems
  • Develop and maintain essential project documentation, including feasibility questionnaires, status reports, and operational manuals
  • Gather and communicate feedback to ensure the acceptability of deliverables
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines
Education:
  • A BA or BS undergraduate degree is preferred
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered
Experience:
  • This is an entry-level position; prior clinical research experience is not required
  • Previous exposure to clinical research through coursework or internships is beneficial
Skills:
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and seek out understanding of complex concepts
  • Capability to cross-reference data and escalate issues as necessary
Location:The position is based in our Charlottesville, Virginia headquarters, requiring your presence at least two days a week to foster collaboration and ensure effective training and integration into the team.
