Albright College is seeking applications for a Group Fitness Instructor. Group Fitness Instructors are an integral part of the Fitness Center team within Campus Recreation. Group Fitness Instructors are responsible for leading multiple group fitness classes that range in variety and levels including Yoga, spin, Aquafit and many other formats. This includes counting, cueing, organizing choreography, and overall fitness participant management. Certification in Group Fitness instruction is required. Essential Job Functions: 1.Provide clear cueing for group fitness format 2.Maintain safe environment for all fitness patrons 3.Plan a variety of motivational class formats 4.Instruct participants in proper form as related to exercise being executed Qualifications/Prerequisites: 1.COMMUNICATION a.Exceptional verbal communication skills. 2.SKILLS a.Ability to work independently and in a group setting. b.Ability to work in a dynamic, changing, and diverse environment. c.Must possess good organizational skills and be efficient in multitasking. d.Demonstrated commitment to building an inclusive and equitable Albright community, as described in Albright College’s Inclusivity and Equity Statement. 3.EMPLOYMENT EXPERIENCE a.Experience in fitness instruction preferred but not required. 4.EDUCATION a.
