Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products in accordance with food safety standards and customer preferences. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong understanding of meat cutting techniques. Duties: - Prepare and cut meat products such as beef, pork, poultry, and seafood - Trim excess fat, gristle, and skin from meat cuts - Portion and package meat products according to customer specifications - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cutting area - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Assist customers with their meat selection and provide excellent customer service - Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management - Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations in the meat department Skills: - Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and practices - Familiarity with different cuts of meat and their uses - Ability to use knives, saws, grinders, and other meat processing equipment safely - Attention to detail for precise portioning and packaging - Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices - Excellent customer service skills to assist customers with their meat selection - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards - Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members If you have a passion for the food industry, possess excellent culinary skills, and have experience in meat cutting, we encourage you to apply for this position.
