DIESEL MECHANIC - - 2nd shift 2 p.m. to 10:30

We are searching for a Diesel Mechanic to join our skilled team at the Safeway Denver Distribution Center located in Denver, CO.. Job Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on Class A Diesel Trucks - Combo.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues
• Answer driver's telephone request for assistance with equipment failure while out on the road
• Maintain and repair all equipment to include engine, starting and charging, electrical, body, wheels, brakes, suspension, and interior.

Qualifications:

• Must have a valid DOT physical card and a CDL driver's license.
• May need certification in the use of refrigerants and recycling equipment
• Ability to work full-time with the ability to work any shift.
• ASE Certifications
• PA State Inspection License a plus.
• 608 & 609 Refrigeration Certification

The hourly rate for this position ranges from $25.73 - 36.75 per hour; starting rate will vary based on circumstances, including experience, qualifications, location and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service and hours worked,

We are a 24 - 7 operation with shifts starting throughout the 24-hour day - 7 days a week.
