Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Deli Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry and providing excellent customer service.

Duties:
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area
- Operate cash registers and handle transactions accurately
- Assist customers with inquiries and provide product recommendations
- Upsell additional items to increase sales
- Follow food safety protocols to ensure quality and freshness
- Perform basic math calculations for cash handling
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order processing

Requirements:
- Prior experience in bussing, food preparation, or the food industry is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to sanitate work areas and equipment regularly
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Proficiency in basic math for cash handling
- Familiarity with operating a cash register and Aloha POS system is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.45 - $14.15 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 38 per week
