What you will be doing

To assist Manager of Third-Party Audits by managing the day-to-day third-party audit process, including but not limited to the processing and communication of audit results, discrepancy challenges, mitigation of adverse audit outcomes and problem/conflict resolutions. The Assistance Manager will also perform and complete a variety of specialized duties that support prescriptions compliance and audits. The duties focus on tasks that are unique to the department and require knowledge and skills that are beyond what are required for general office work.

The position will be based in Boise, ID, or one of our main regional offices.

Main responsibilities

  • Manage and distribute incoming audit notifications from PBMs and other auditing entities to department specialists.
  • Assist in developing communication documents for pharmacies to ensure timely and accurate retrieval of audit documentation.
  • Communicate the summarization of audit results and distribute via email for all audits to pharmacies, District Managers, District Pharmacy Operators and Vice Presidents.
  • Manage the process of appeals and grievances for all audit responses.
  • Work with Manager Third Party Audits to develop a plan to mitigate further risk from audit results.
  • Assist Manager Third Party Audits in development of processes for all tasks performed in the Third-Party Audit department for maximum efficiencies.
  • Utilize EPS, Inmar and other Third-Party Audit tools to react and respond to all audit requests.
  • Training of new team members of the Third-Party Audit department.
  • Assist Department Specialists in the retrieval of documentation during periods of high volume.
  • Some Travel may be required.

The salary range is $60,700-$78,940 annually. Starting salary will vary based on criteria such as location, experience, and qualifications. There may be flexibility for exceptional candidates. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay/Flexible Time Off, paid holidays (8-9 days annually) bereavement pay and retirement benefits (such as 401(k) eligibility).

What we are searching for 

  • Retail Pharmacy experience - 2 years minimum required
  • Proficient in Pharmacy mathematical calculations.
  • Knowledgeable regarding Pharmacy Federal and State Laws.
  • Pharmacy Technician License required. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred.
  • Intermediate PC knowledge of Excel, Word, and company email
  • Knowledge of the organization operations of the pharmacy business - 2 years.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem solving/prioritization skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and strong organizational skills
