Safeway San Leandro, CA Milk Plant is looking to add a Production Manager to our team. If you are a naturally curious leader who investigates problems and tracks down the data needed to drive solutions, we would be thrilled to meet you! The expected pay range for this position is $115,200 - $158,400 Annually.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Develop, monitor, and ensure timely completion of plant goals/action plans, both short and long term.
• Utilize new technology and lean manufacturing principals and processes available to maximize efficiency.
• Promote development of cost saving initiatives.
• Develop a work environment within manufacturing that promotes trust, teamwork quality and safety.
• Ensure production of a quality product in compliance with Safeway, Federal and State guidelines Ensure regulatory compliance as appropriate (OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, HACCP, Etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of leadership experience in a production environment
• 2 or more years working with Lean Manufacturing principles

Preferred Qualifications :

• Strong production background – the ability to turn data into action
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Ability to interface with regulatory agencies
