Position Summary

Under the direction of the Alaska Sprouts production manager, the Sanitation & Packaging Specialist is responsible for keeping compliance with our SOPs for cleaning, preparing areas for processing, packaging product, and record keeping. This position will be responsible for growing, harvesting, and packaging the sprouts that feed the state of Alaska.

Essential Functions

• Demonstrate a clear understanding of the Alaska Sprouts Values, Policies & Procedures.

• Ability to consistently be punctual.

• Ability to work independently, using good judgment and common sense.

• Keep supervisor fully informed at all times.

• Proactive in taking on other duties identified or as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Follow safety protocols and regulations.
• Operate machinery and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform quality control checks on products.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and managers.
• Work with a team to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Communicate with other workers to ensure smooth workflow.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
