Sales Associate

We are looking for a Sales Associate to join our team at ALAND. The ideal candidate will be passionate about fashion and beauty, and have a strong customer service skills.

What is ALAND?

ALAND was founded in 2005 as a lifestyle store that introduced aspiring designers and South Korean subculture in fashion, design, and trends. It was the first store in South Korea to feature new upcoming fashion designers, and not only apparel, but also cosmetics, accessories, living goods, and other trending items.

ALAND has played a major role in lowering the barrier to entry for South Korean fashion culture in the United States. The increasing interest of K-pop idols in these new South Korean designer brands has also helped to attract more people to K-fashion.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and welcome them to the store
• Provide excellent customer service and answer questions about products
• Upsell products and recommend related items
• Process payments and operate the POS system
• Maintain a clean and organized store
• Promote special sales and events

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in fashion design or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of retail experience
• Strong customer service skills
• Passion for fashion, design, and beauty.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Korean speaking preferred.

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week
