Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Insurance and Eligibility Coordinator. As an Insurance and Eligibility Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate insurance verification and billing processes within our medical office. This is a full-time position with competitive pay.

Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Process insurance claims and follow up on any outstanding claims
- Review and interpret medical records, medical coding, and documentation
- Collaborate with the medical director to ensure accurate coding and billing practices
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations when handling patient information
- Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim denials or discrepancies
- Assist patients with insurance-related inquiries and provide exceptional customer service
- Keep up-to-date with changes in insurance policies, managed care, and coding practices
- Maintain accurate records of insurance information, claims, and payments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, coding, and insurance verification processes
- Familiarity with managed care plans and insurance billing procedures
- Proficient in using office software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
