Allergy Nurse – Full Time
Ear, Nose, and Throat specialty practice looking for a motivated allergy CMA or RMA looking to form part of great team at Alamance Ear, Nose , & Throat LLP.
Responsibilities:

• Performs allergy prick testing and/or intradermal testing as ordered by physician.
• Administers allergy injections to shot patients on physician approved schedule.
• Monitors patients medically for possible adverse reaction following receipt of allergy injection.
• Prepares and maintains supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
• Performs patient education when appropriate.
• Completes appropriate documentation in patients medical record.
• Facilitates prescriptions for patients as ordered by physician or PA.
• Clinical support for providers as requested/required by role within practice.
• Follows up to obtain referrals and insurance authorization as requested and needed.
• Other duties as assigned or needed

Schedule: Must be available to work 40 hours a week Monday through Friday 8:00am until 5:00pm.

Secondary: Mebane, NC
Required qualifications:
CMA or RMA
1 or more years of experience in an allergy clinic
Knowledge and experience of allergy vials mixing, allergy testing, & administering allergy injections/treatments.
