We are looking for a full-time Assistant Store Manager at our Homewood store location. The Assistant Store Manager acts as the floor leader in support of the Store Manager. The responsibilities are as follows.
  • Assisting and training team members
  • Floor Management: Overseeing team members and customer interactions; ensuring phones are answered promptly.
  • Administration work: Assisting Store Manager with submitting deposits; Making the schedule; Approving/denying Time Off Requests with Store Manager’s assistance as needed.
  • Merchandising/floor presentation
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to ensure accurate inventory and full demonstrations of all products on the sales floor.
  • Influence others to get outside in Alabama and beyond
  • Build loyalty one connection at a time
Furthermore, the role will be responsible for the preparation and communication of all other necessary needs, ensuring tasks are fulfilled and executed within a timely manner.

Expectations and Objectives:
  • Operate as lead Manager on Duty alongside Store Manager
  • Coach team members to become customer service experts
  • Inspire team members to be excited about the products we carry through effective training measures
  • Ensure all returned product is tagged, steamed, and/or folded to be placed immediately back onto the store floor or sent to the appropriate location.
  • Communicate all inventory discrepancies to the operations team, merchandising team, Store Manager, and/or vendors.
  • Oversee and communicate location supply needs.
  • Work with Store Manager to ensure staff is properly trained, sales floor is covered, tasks are done at proper times, and floor recovering meets company’s expectations.
  • All other tasks as required.
