Physical Therapist
Location: Mobile, AL, 36608
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated physical therapist to join our quality-driven therapy team. This is a large, physician owned therapy clinic specializing in outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. 2-5 years of therapy experience preferred, ideally with some outpatient ortho experience. Applicants must have a great attitude, enjoy working with people, and be passionate about the profession.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans
- Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care
- Use exercises, manual therapy, and other techniques to help patients regain mobility and reduce pain
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed; Maintain accurate patient records
- Communicate, consult and practice with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Educate patients on exercises and techniques they can use to continue their recovery at home
- Supervision of PTA activities
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in physical therapy
- Willingness to work a regular full-time schedule Monday thru Friday
- State licensure as a physical therapist in Alabama
- Experience working with patients with a variety of physical impairments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
