Description
The Infrastructure Administrator II is responsible for the architecture, maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, networks, servers, and virtualization systems for the Credit Union.
Install and upgrade server components and software, install and upgrade networks, manage virtual servers
Manage the automation platform that integrates with our core processing system
Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems and assessing impact of issues
Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures
Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Perform upgrades to core processing system and database maintenance in conjunction with our Core Operations TEAM
Act as an escalation point for support efforts, making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions
Ensure security through access controls, endpoint protection, and firewalls
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
A minimum of five years managing enterprise systems is required.
