**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our surgical team. The EMT will be responsible for providing pre and post surgical assessments, placement of peripheral IVs, administering fluids, patient monitoring, recording of vitals, and post operative assessments. Oral and Maxillofacial surgery is an exciting specialty of dentistry which encompasses a broad variety of surgical procedures. This includes:

1. General Anesthesia/IV sedation

2. Dental Extractions

3. Bone grafting/Dental Implants

4. Oral Pathology

5. Facial Trauma

On the job training is available for well qualified/motivated applicants.

**Responsibilities:**

- Perform triage and post operative assessments of patients

- Administer injections and medications as directed

- Utilize aseptic techniques to prevent infection

- Monitor and record vital signs accurately

- Conduct regular inventory checks and manage medical supplies.

**Experience:**

- Proficiency in administering injections and medications

- Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and aseptic techniques

- Ability to assess vital signs accurately

- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
