As the Assistant Distribution Center Manager, you'll be a key player in managing day and night warehouse operations, ensuring seamless distribution functions. Collaborate closely with the DC Manager, providing leadership to shift and department managers, and driving excellence in delivery processes, customer service, safety protocols, and compliance.

**Hours and Benefits for the Assistant Distribution Center Manager:**

Monday Friday 8 am 5 pm

The salary is up to $100,000 with a bonus plan!

**Responsibilities for the Assistant Distribution Center Manager:**

Collaborate with the DC Manager to optimize warehouse efficiency.

Provide backup support for various roles, including Driver Manager, Day Manager, and Returns.

Master SAP/Roadnet/Omnitracs/Microsoft products to enhance logistical operations.

Conduct weekly reviews of day and driver payroll, ensuring smooth processes.

Execute 30/60/90 plans and contribute to driver compliance reviews.

Foster a learning environment by working closely with all departments.

Proactively address and resolve concerns, maintaining open communication channels.

Engage with Customer Service, Accounts Receivable, and Logistics departments as needed.

Investigate shipping errors, shortages, and vehicle post-accident involvement.

Communicate delivery instructions and address challenges in the absence of the Driver Manager.

Coach and train delivery drivers and warehouse workers on policies, procedures, and safety.

Manage day warehouse, driver, and day/night shift operations.

Collaborate with various managers to ensure efficient and professional customer service.

**Requirements for the Assistant Distribution Center Manager:**

A bachelor's degree is preferred, or 10 years of industry experience in a distribution management position is preferred.

5 years in a distribution leadership role

Foster a safety-first culture.

Build and cultivate a positive team culture at all levels.

Must be a US Citizen or Green Cardholder
