Nestled in the vibrant city of Chicago, IL, in the suburb of Bolingbrook, Al-Furqaan Foundation operates as a non-profit, tax-exempt entity, strategically structured with diverse business units dedicated to fulfilling its mission. Beyond our local roots, our overarching goal is to serve the American Muslim community and beyond, engaging in a wide array of impactful projects and initiatives.

Position Overview:

The Director of Marketing at Al-Furqaan Foundation will provide strategic leadership in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the organization's mission, programs, and initiatives. Reporting directly to the Vice President, the Director of Marketing will be responsible for driving brand awareness, expanding the organization's reach, and enhancing engagement with target audiences. This includes overseeing the marketing efforts for diverse divisions such as Dawah, fundraising, Quran distribution, schools, Masaajid, publishing, and other business units to ensure cohesive and effective promotional campaigns across all divisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

● Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units' mission and objectives.

● Drive brand positioning and messaging to effectively communicate the organization's values and impact, encompassing all its divisions/business units.

● Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation across Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

Brand Management and Promotion:

● Oversee the development and implementation of branding initiatives across various channels and platforms, ensuring alignment with all divisions/business units.

● Ensure consistency and alignment of brand messaging and visuals across all communications within Al-Furqaan Foundation and its divisions/business units.

● Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and make data-driven decisions for Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

Digital Marketing and Online Presence:

● Lead digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media strategy, email campaigns, and online advertising, for Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

● Optimize digital channels for engagement, conversion, and lead generation across Al-Furqaan Foundation and its divisions/business units.

● Stay updated on digital marketing trends and best practices to continuously enhance the online presence of Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

Public Relations and Communications:

● Develop and nurture relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key stakeholders to enhance the visibility and reputation of Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

● Create compelling content for press releases, articles, and other communications materials for Al-Furqaan Foundation and its divisions/business units.

● Serve as a spokesperson for the organization in media interviews and public appearances as needed, representing Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

Community Engagement and Outreach:

● Collaborate with community partners, organizations, and leaders to expand outreach efforts and foster community engagement for Al-Furqaan Foundation and its divisions/business units.

● Plan and execute events, campaigns, and initiatives to connect with target audiences and drive participation across Al-Furqaan Foundation and all its divisions/business units.

● Cultivate relationships with donors, supporters, and volunteers to enhance loyalty and support for Al-Furqaan Foundation and its divisions/business units.

Qualifications:

● Proven leadership experience in marketing roles, preferably within the non-profit sector or related field.

● Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics.

● Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

● Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in marketing, business administration, or related field preferred.

Location: Bolingbrook, IL (with occasional travel as required)
