AKS is Hiring a Survey Technician Near Peachtree, GA
Survey Technician
Civil engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, and environmental consultant has an opening for an experienced Land Surveying Technician in our Builder Services Department. A minimum of 2 years recent experience is required.
Duties for qualified applicants will include:
- Preparation of Foundation and Final Surveys
- Preparation of Boundary and Topographic Surveys
- FEMA Elevation Certificates
- Prepare and Review Field Data
- Coordination of Field Crews
Qualifications/Skills & Knowledge requirements:
- Certification as an LSIT in Georgia is preferred, but not required
- Must be proficient with AutoCAD & Civil 3D is a big plus
- Must be proficient with field survey procedures
- Must be familiar with MS Office software suite
- Ability to work within a team as well as an individual
- Attention to detail, organized
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong communication skills
- A clean driving record is required
Salary is locally competitive and commensurate with experience. Excellent benefits: Employer paid medical insurance with HRA, dental insurance and life insurance, long/short term disability, flex plan and 401k plan with up to 3% employer match.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
