Plastic Packer/Machine Operator: Determines that all jobs are being run to the established Quality Control specifications; helps with training as needed, helps with packing; runs presses, sets molds per set-up sheets, gets necessary equipment to run jobs, monitors and records molding processes.
Starting Date: Direct Hire - As soon as available.

Salary: $14.30 Incentive Pay per hour (Paid weekly and subject to standard withholdings)

Hours:

Additional shift premium pay: Paid when working 2nd or 3rd shift:

Shift Assignment: Training conducted on 1st shift, then could be assigned to 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

Hours: 8-hours per week day, plus weekday and weekend overtime as needed.

Overtime: Paid at time and one-half for hours worked beyond 8 hours in a given day.

Experience / Training:

Previous factory work experience preferred but not required. On-the-job training.

High School Diploma, GED or the ability to pass a reading, writing and math skills test.

Responsibilities:

* Reads operating instructions for each job assignment prior to starting job.
* Handles various types of plastic products
* Operate hydraulic or injection press per instructions.
* Inspects ware for visible defects or flaws
* Uses various hand tools such as files or other finishing equipment to descale and finish parts
* Assembles and packs products per company and customer standards.

* Keep press(es) filled with material and place molded parts into proper ware pans.
* General clean-up, perform other duties as requested.

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand and or be on your feet for eight or more hours.

Good vision, correctable with glasses.

Ability to lift 50 lbs. - at least 10% of time
