Job Description Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our growing Supply Chain team as the Logistics Coordinator for Instruments and Reagents.
The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and coordinating the various aspects of logistics to ensure seamless movement of our products globally.
Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing transportation of our products, international order processing, documentation and compliance, and optimizing processes to enhance overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, expertise shipping reagents internationally, and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to meet logistical objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Transportation Management
Coordinate and schedule the transportation of instruments and reagents, ensuring timely delivery to our customers
Collaborate with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations
Order Processing
Support international customer order processing, track international orders, and ensure accurate and on-time fulfillment
Communicate with freight forwarders and distributors to coordinate order details to facilitate an uninterrupted order delivery process to our customers
Documentation and Compliance
Create and maintain accurate documentation for all international shipments, including commercial invoices, shipping manifests, packing lists, and customs paperwork
Communication and Coordination
Work closely with the Warehouse manager to ensure international shipments are picked and packed according to that region's fulfillment schedule
Provide regular updates on shipment status and resolve any issues or delays that may arise
Problem Resolution
Identify and address logistical challenges promptly and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to transportation, warehousing, and order fulfillment
Continuous Improvement
Analyze logistics processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve the customer experience
Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements to incorporate best practices into daily operations
Reporting
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to logistics, providing insights for effective decision making
Qualifications / Skills
The hiring range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00 per hour, which may factor in various geographic regions. The pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
Our full-time regular positions also include an annual performance-based bonus (or a sales incentive plan) and long-term incentive units (equity) provided as part of our compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
