Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Power Platform developer to join our ministry. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical skills and leadership ability, with the communication and teamwork skills needed to collaborate with other members of our technology team. This position will also help develop and maintain our low-code applications in Power Apps and configure workflows and business process automation using Power Automate.

This is a generational opportunity to impact and influence the design and build out of our new Azure platform and back-office tooling. This platform will enable NCF to grow and scale in accomplishing our mission of seeing lives changed by mobilizing resources across literally thousands of Christian ministries through inspiring biblical generosity.

This position is hybrid based out of the office in Alpharetta, GA.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains low-code application development in Microsoft Power Apps
• Creates and configures workflows, business process automation, and integration solutions using Power Automate
• Integrates low-code solutions with external systems and data sources
• Develops infrastructure as code (IaC) leveraging cloud native tooling to ensure automated and consistent platform deployments
• Assists in managing and administering the Microsoft Azure cloud environment, including provisioning, configuration, performance monitoring, policy governance and security
• Assists in designing, developing, and implementing highly available, multi-region solutions within Microsoft Azure
• Assists in managing security and access controls of cloud-based solutions
• Supports cloud adoption of applications as they are being transformed and/or modernized
• Ensures all cloud enabled components meet proper performance and capacity standards
• Collaborates with the Marketing & Offerings team to convert design composites into Power App components and templates

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or other related field is required

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years' business technology related experience
• 2 years of Microsoft Azure experience involving design, deployment, configuration and optimization
• 2 years developing low-code applications with Power Platform
• Understanding of key aspects of the platform, such as Canvas and Model Driven Apps, roles, security, and permissions
• Experience building applications on Dataverse
• Experience automating business processes with Power Automate
• Experience in developing API custom connectors for use in Canvas Apps
• 2 years of experience with IaaS and PaaS solutions
• Experience in the design and operation of medium to large scale enterprise infrastructure, databases and application systems
• Preferred experience/certifications
• UI or UX design experience
• Microsoft Power Platform certification(s)
• Power BI experience; understanding of how to implement BI dashboards with multiple data sources

Knowledge Base

• Computer skills: Microsoft Office applications
• Proven aptitude for "real time" problem diagnosis and solving
• Some working knowledge of charitable, non-profit, foundation, and/or donor related subject matters
• Able to perform duties independently
