• Position : NOC Operator (Day One Onsite)
• Rate : $20 / hr - $21 / hr (DOE)
• Visa - GC / USC Only
• Location : Dallas, TX (Day One Onsite)

JOB DESCRIPTION :

Responsibilities :

• The position will involve a variety of administrative tasks including but not limited to word processing, document formatting, large document production, record retention, filing, and proofreading.
• Strong understanding of Video Monitoring and Access Control systems.
• Planning and implementing changes to the Transport network to ensure adherence to all Change Management policies and procedures.
• Striving to resolve all issues and to identify the root cause of every problem.
• Coordinating all planned outages.
• Communicating with verbal and written status reports as required.
• Assisting in the training of new candidates.
• Adhering to safe work practices to support the goal of no reportable accidents within IT.
• Being on call and shift work is a 24x7 operation and all personnel will be on call in the event of a problem.
• Keeping abreast of technology changes, evaluating and recommending network components and developing documentation and installation standards for these components.
• FAA tower lighting notifications.
• Updating system and procedures documentation for all network hardware on the document database.
• Planning and implementing changes to the Transport network to ensure adherence to all Change Management policies and procedures.
• Striving to resolve all problems on the first visit and to identify the root cause of every problem.
• Coordinating all planned outages.
• Communicating with verbal and written status reports as required.
• Performing end-to-end analysis on the transport network through a capacity / availability / response time analysis.
• Assisting in the training of new candidates.
• Providing primary support for at least one major system (microwave, two-way radio, wireless LAN, etc) and secondary support on multiple minor systems.
• Adhering to safe work practices to support the goal f no reportable accidents within IT.
• Being on call the transport network is a 24x7 operation and all personnel will be on call in the event of a problem.
• The Network Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and control.
