Electrical Maintenance Technician

Direct Hire / Full Time

Location : Orangeburg / Swansea SC Area

Annual Comp. Range : $60,000 - $85,000 (paid weekly)

Shifts open :

• 2-3-2 Schedule- 6pm to 6am
• through Thursday
• Shift 5am to 1pm
• Shift 1pm to 9pm
• Shift 9pm to 5am

Experience Required :

2 years’ experience in industrial

military electrical maintenance

• working on heavy equipment & industrial machines
• troubleshooting three phase, 480V motors and controls
• AC / DC drives, motor / motor controls, digital and analog electronics
• test instruments, power supplies, power distribution, high-voltage experience
• Familiar with plant electrical panels and disconnects
• Install new equipment, run wiring, conduit, and basic electrical work
• Efficiently diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic energy systems
• Proficient in schematic / blueprint reading and modification of all systems
• Strong natural ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, analyze equipment problems electrically

Preferred Qualifications :

• Familiar with electrical controls, PLC’s, VFD’s and electrical switch gear
• Basic PLC diagnosis and repair (AB and Siemens Software)
• Capable of conduit installation and wiring by the NEC.
• Experience with drives, Level 1 devices, and / or NFPA 70E.
• Knowledge of electrical motor and automation operation and repair.
