Akins Workforce Solutions is Hiring a Mason Near Clearwater, FL

We are currently looking for a skilled, experienced mason for work in the St. Pete area who can cut, dress and lay stone, and who is proficient with both modern power tools and traditional hand tools. This is full time work (40 hours).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining tools and workspaces.
  • Cutting, shaping and dressing materials.
  • Lifting, carrying and placing prepared blocks.
  • Reading and following technical drawings.
  • Training apprentices if needed.
  • Mixing cement and mortar.
  • Restoring old and worn masonry.

Requirements:

  • 5 years experience as a mason.
  • Tools, PPE, and transportation.
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Love for working with stone.
  • Able to handle physical workload.
  • Great communication skills
  • Team player
