Akins Workforce Solutions is Hiring a HVAC Installer-Commercial Near Marco Island, FL
We are currently seeking experienced HVAC installers for commercial work in the Marco Island area. This is full time (40 hours) and long term work. Temp-to perm position.
Responsibilities:
•Install Sheet Metal and duct board Ducts (Duct board, Squared, Round, Spiral, Rectangular, etc)
•Pookie and insulate
•Improve HVAC system performance by refilling refrigerants, cleaning the ducts, and changing filters.
•Troubleshoot and test pipe joints for leaks
•Assemble, position and mount HVAC equipment as necessary
•Install grills and dampers
•Set curbs for RTU’s
•Adhere to all quality and safety codes
•Repair and replace defective equipment as necessary
Qualifications:
•At least 5 year of commercial experience in the HVAC Sheet Metal field
•Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other specifications
•Familiarity with Sheet Metal equipment and hand tools
•Must have own tools and reliable transportation
•HVAC Mechanics with experience performing both service work and installs is a plus.
