Analyzes system requirements and leads design and development activities. Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies. Provides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operations. Present briefings and demonstrations to stakeholdersRequired Skills:
A Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience.
An Associate’s degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 10 years of experience may be considered for individuals with in-depth experience that is clearly related to the position.
Certifications count as a year experience.Qualifying certs are:CAPCASP CECISMCISSP (or Associate)GSLCCCISOHCISPPAkina is a Woman Owned, Service Disabled, Veteran Owned, Small Business, looking for talented and ambitious individuals to join our team. We offer a generous compensation package that includes 24 days PTO accrued annually and 11 federal holidays. - Intermediate to expert Linux experience, specifically Redhat.
- Linux hardening and troubleshooting
- Host based intrusion detection, aide, ossec, Osquery. Understand how it ties into blue teams,
- Automate deployment of security tools with ansible, terraform, bash
- Automate fact gathering from aws and corp APIs with python and bash
- Working knowledge of kubernetes and proficient with kubectl and helm
