Location: Santa Fe Indian Health Service
Hours: Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week (30 hours of overtime annually estimated)

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Supplies Coordinator to play a pivotal role in maintaining and overseeing the supply chain process within our facility. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations, ensuring that our medical teams have the supplies they need to provide exceptional care.Key
Responsibilities:Data Management & Inventory Control: Perform meticulous data entry tasks related to medical supplies, ensuring adherence to regulations and inventory management best practices.Shipping & Receiving Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of shipping, receiving, courier services, and act as an alternate for mail distribution and other support functions.Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments to maintain optimal supply levels through effective acquisition planning, requisitioning, ordering, receiving, issuing, and maintaining accurate records.Quality
Assurance & Coordination: Oversee quality assurance measures and coordinate the availability of patient care supplies, playing a crucial role in acquisition and distribution processes.Automated
System Management: Convert hard-copy information into digital formats within an automated data materials management system, adhering strictly to IHS and departmental policies.Professional
Conduct & Competency: Uphold professional standards and demonstrate the competencies necessary for efficient supply delivery throughout the facility.Qualifications:Experience in inventory control, shipping/receiving, and data entry, preferably within a medical or healthcare setting.Familiarity with medical supplies and the regulations governing their distribution.Proficiency in the use of automated data management systems and adherence to policy protocols.Strong organizational skills and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.Commitment to professional conduct and the delivery of supplies in a timely and efficient manner.What
