Position: Medical Billing & Coding

Anchorage based medicalpractice needs a dedicated, experienced medical billing and collectionsspecialist.This role starts out as atemporary position, but with excellent long-term potential! The rightindividual can move into a permanent position with great benefits at this localAnchorage medical practice.

Responsibilities: Medical Billing & Coding

• Insurance claim review, processing, and distribution
• Patient account reconciliations
• Patient full account set up into practice information systems.
• Maintains all patient data and associated information for accuracy.
• Provides excellent customer service to patient’s inquiries via phone, written, or in person.
• Utilization of EPIC systems for patient data and records maintenance
• In-patient and out-patient insurance claims processing
• Collaboration and coordination of patient chart requests to various entities
• Delinquent account monitoring and turn over to the supervisor for further actions.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and always maintain patient confidentiality.
• Embrace any other duties assigned by management!
