Akari Salon and Spa is looking for a full-time Salon Apprentice who is eager to begin a career as a color specialist!

The premise of the Akari Apprenticeship Program is to provide a superior education opportunity that will give the apprentice a head start in building a career at our salon. The apprentice would be working directly with all of our top stylists and colorists. They will gain real life experience on the floor of one of Maine’s premier salons.

The program is designed to offer a comprehensive and structured learning experience, while also leaving room for customization based on individual goals and strengths. Book work, in-salon classes, model work, and practical testing are all part of the program. Most importantly, however, the program teaches you how to provide an exceptional experience to clients consistent with the Akari brand, through hands-on training and real-life observation.
