We’re a membership-based sauna studio in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Members get unlimited access to our communal saunas and cold therapy facilities. Akari brings a diverse group of members where they connect with oneself and others.

The Role

Akari is looking for a diligent and reliable individual to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities. This role is critical in ensuring that our studio is a welcoming and hygienic environment for all members.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks throughout the facility, including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, emptying trash, and cleaning windows.
• Handle all laundry duties, including the collection, washing, and folding of towels.
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization in all areas of the studio.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift supplies.
• A valid drivers license is a plus.
• Willingness to work early morning shifts.

Hours

• Monday to Friday: 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Weekend Availability: Saturday and Sunday, 6:30 AM to 11:30 AM

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
