Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings):

Enterprise Architect. Work with customers to define a technical strategy for business-critical web and network infrastructure. Providing guidance to peers on best practices and latest technology trends, such as Dev-ops and Web performance. Partner with Product Management and Research & Development teams to develop future product direction and strategy. Ensure smooth running of customer engagements and act as final technical escalation point for internal stakeholders. Act as a technical consultant to our customers and build solid and strategic relationships. Utilize various scripting languages and development practices to help create automation on our platforms. Analyze data, provide actionable solutions and thought leadership to internal and external stakeholders. Telecommuting permitted from anywhere in the United States. [AG0883]

Required Qualification:

Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information System Engineering, Information Technology, Music Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus four (4) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role. Alternatively, will accept a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information System Engineering, Information Technology, Music Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus six (6) years of experience in the job offered or closely related technical role.

Must Have: Four (4) years of experience in the following: Hybrid cloud management; scripting and programming; windows or linux server administration; devops methodologies; and API design and support.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $134,466 - $214,782/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
