Akai Hana Sushi & Grill Goodyear is an authentic Japanese restaurant serving fresh sushi and traditional/new Japanese cuisine.

We are currently looking for an experienced sushi helper to further expand the business. We have opening for both part time and full time. Previous job experience behind sushi bar is a must for this position with basic knowledge in breaking down different fish and familiar in making different types of sushi (nigiri, sashimi, maki, etc.)

Physical requirements:

• Stand for extended periods.
• Use hands and wrists repetitively.
• Lift and carry up to 50lb when necessary.

Desired skills:

• 2 years experience at Japanese restaurant sushi bar
• Familiar with Japanese cuisine and comfortable handling fresh fish
• Able to make different types of sushi (nigiri, sashimi, maki...)

Pay

• Starting $14/hour; will negotiate depending on your talent
