AJS Hotels is Hiring a Bellperson (3dr shift) Near Louisville, KY
The Bellperson is responsible for assisting guests, maintaining, and promoting True Hospitality, which also includes shuttling guests to and from the airport.
Essential Job Functions

- Support the Crowne Plaza hallmark and service standards.
- Must be willing to greet our guests with a smile and in a hospitable, friendly, and professional manner.
- Will assist our guest with the unloading and loading of luggage, transporting luggage to and from the guest’s room.
- Provides information to the guests regarding hotel facilities and area attractions.
- Keeps curb, work area and shuttle neat and clean.
- Assists guests with transportation arrangements including driving guests to and from airport.
- All other duties as assigned.
Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 21 years of age or older
- Clean and valid driving license
- Exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
- Exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Demonstrate time management abilities.

Education & Experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent required.
- Generally, 0-2 years of experience in hospitality.
- Positive and professional attitude at all times.
- Knowledge of greater Louisville Area.
- Ability to work with all levels of management.
- Ability to meet deadlines in fast paced environment
Work Environment
This job operates outside of the hotel in all elements of the weather. This role routinely operates the hotel shuttle service and should understand all road rules and regulations.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time non-exempt position with expectation to work necessary business hours to ensure business needs are met during the operation of the Accounting Department.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Requires finger dexterity to be able to operate shuttle, grasping, writing, standing, walking repetitive motion, hearing visual acuity, and may on occasion have to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
